Spotlight: Lightly raced 4yo who reappeared with a Listed win at Kempton (1m, AW) in March; flopped at Epsom (8.5f, good to soft) next time and faded into fifth in Group 3 Valiant at Ascot (1m, good to firm) in July last time; the drop back to 7f could help this headstrong filly; not ruled out each-way.

Spotlight: Impressive on handicap debut at Newmarket (7f, good to firm) in July and that form has worked out well; ran well when fourth in Group 3 Oak Tree at Goodwood (7f, good to firm) 18 days later and this unexposed 3yo could still be capable of better; has shown promise on soft; could be a contender.

Spotlight: Trainer has won three of the last eight runnings and this 4yo was a 7f Group 3 winner for Michael O'Callaghan last June; however, she was well beaten last October on her final run for that yard and hasn't been at the top of her game this season on her first two starts for new yard.

Spotlight: Belied her outsider status for narrow Listed win at Deauville (7.5f, good) last month; it will be interesting to see if this French raider can build on that win but today's assignment is certainly tougher.

Spotlight: Unable to kick on since near-miss in the Group 2 Sandy Lane at Haydock (6f) last May; soundly beaten Listed third at Pontefract (6f) last month on sole outing this year but she may have needed the run; fine over 7f when sixth in the Group 3 Oak Tree at Goodwood last July when coming from further back than the principals; versatile ground-wise; not ruled out each-way.

Spotlight: Given a fine ride in front when a 33-1 Listed winner at Naas (7f, good) in May; ran pretty well when fourth in Group 3 at Cork (7f, yielding) a fortnight ago but others have more compelling credentials.

Spotlight: Won the Group 3 Chartwell at Lingfield (7f, good to firm) in May; not at the same level since and, while her fifth in the Group 3 Oak Tree at Goodwood (7f, good to firm) in July was a step back in the right direction, she may again be vulnerable under a 3lb penalty; unproven on slow ground.

Spotlight: 0-13 since winning on her debut in August 2024 and she hasn't been at her very best on her last two starts; however, she's back from a break and has an each-way shout on form such as her 1l second of 15 in a Listed race at Haydock (6f, good to soft) in May; stays 7f.

Spotlight: Struggled in Australia late last year, following an absence, and she's back from some more time off today; needs to prove how much ability she retains but she was a class act earlier in her career for Karl Burke (C&D Group 2 winner), to whom she has returned, and she's not written off.

Spotlight: Won at Southwell (6f, AW) on sole 2yo start and reappeared with good third in the Group 3 Fred Darling at Newbury (7f, good); it's still very early days but she finished down the field in the 1,000 Guineas and at Royal Ascot (Group 3 Jersey) and has to leave those performances well behind.

Spotlight: 3yo who has raced 13 times and was better than ever when 25-1 Listed runner-up at Pontefract (6f, good to firm) four weeks ago; however, she was no match for the winner and is probably up against it today.

Spotlight: Lightly raced 3yo who was a Listed runner-up at Sandown (1m, good to firm) in July but she has something to find judged on even that peak effort and she's since finished down the field at Haydock (1m, good; Listed).

Spotlight: Listed winner at Chantilly (1m, good to soft) last May for Ed Walker; however, she's struggled to get competitive on her four starts this season and has something to prove on stable debut; remains in same ownership.

Spotlight: Made it four wins for the year (good to soft/good) with 7f Listed success at Chester in June; however, a career best is needed this afternoon and she may have gone off the boil judged on her last two starts.

Spotlight: Finished last in the Group 3 Oak Tree at Glorious Goodwood (7f) but the fast ground may not have suited; prior to that she was prominent for a long way before fading into mid-division in the Group 1 Poule d'Essai Des Pouliches at Longchamp (1m, heavy) and she remains of interest at 7f now back on a slower surface; no surprise if she runs well at big odds.

Spotlight: Listed third at Musselburgh (7f, good) in June but today's assignment demands considerably more and she's been soundly beaten in Listed/Group 3 races on her last two starts.
