Spotlight: Gelding operation in the close season has done the trick; followed a Group 3 win with a Group 2 at Haydock (5f, good to soft), overcoming a slow start to win in some style; lesser efforts at Royal Ascot and Goodwood since; sixth in the Nunthorpe marked a return to near his best.
